It is an ambitious project that is currently taking its small steps and, on its way to consolidation, has just begun a new exciting stage, advancing from research to development.
We have managed to include DISLEXIA in the school curriculum of Tolosa, Gipuzkoa. The schools have expressed their adhesion to the program, they have been carrying out multidisciplinary self-diagnoses in different phases:
- possible cases of children with dyslexia have been detected.
- teachers have been trained by means of courses implemented by the program.
- and the schools have expressed their commitment to continue this precious process.
Recently, the second phase called “Dyslexia On Garatzen” has been initiated. As the name itself expresses, the main objective is to “develop a standardized system of identification and treatment of dyslexia” in each of the schools.
